Understand subscriptions and response validity
Plan administrator access, response blocks, and continuing rounds across a subscription renewal.
Separate the components
Administrator licenses provide account access to manage studies. Response blocks provide the survey participation allowance. Complete Survey Care is optional implementation support and does not replace either component.
Review the account’s subscription end date and available responses in Account Settings. For current pricing, use the pricing enquiry page or your agreed quotation.
Response blocks and renewals
- Response blocks are valid for 12 months from purchase; unused responses do not carry over after their validity period.
- Additional responses can be purchased when needed. Allow approximately one business day for invoicing, payment, and the account update.
- In an existing study, panelists who completed round 1 in the current term do not consume responses again solely to complete round 2 after renewal.
- Study data remains available under the renewed subscription.
- Subscriptions do not renew automatically unless a specific arrangement has been agreed for your project.
Prepare for an extended study
Plan access and allowances before a term ends, particularly for studies with long gaps between rounds. Confirm your arrangement with Calibrum if you have purchased a multi-year project package or have response blocks with different purchase dates.
Keep regular exports of the study data and do not treat an expired account as long-term archival storage. Follow the retention terms agreed for your project.
Common questions
Do I need another response for every answer or page?
No. The allowance relates to the panelist’s survey record, not each question or page. Separate surveys and new identities can create separate usage; check your study plan and account details.
Does deleting a response make it available again?
No. Used responses remain in the usage log after deletion.
