Comment Rating
Comment Rating lets participants rate other participants’ written comments using one or two rating scales. Only administrators can see the comment-rating analysis; participants cannot see other participants’ ratings.
What is Comment Rating?
Comment Rating lets participants evaluate other participants’ written comments using up to two Likert rating scales, such as Importance, Feasibility, Priority, or Relevance. These ratings evaluate the comments, rather than the answer to the survey question.
It is not a threaded discussion: participants rate comments without replying directly to one another. Comment-rating analysis is visible only to administrators; participants cannot see ratings submitted by other participants.
How to set up Comment Rating
- Open Library → Scale Library and create the rating scales and their scale points.
- In Design Survey, open the question’s Question Settings.
- Use Comment Rating to assign one or two scales. For a matrix, configure the relevant matrix column.
- Check the question’s comment and feedback display settings, then test the participant experience before launch.
For example, use an Importance scale to let participants rate how important another participant’s comment is.
See the Scale Library instructions or open the full Question Settings reference.
