Give administrators and analysts the right access
Separate survey management from guest analysis and choose whether analysts may view participant identities.
Administrator groups
Administrator group membership provides administrative access. The survey’s administrator group determines who can manage that study. Check the account’s licensed administrator allowance before adding another administrator.
Do not place ordinary panelists in an administrator group merely to let them answer questions. They only need membership in the survey’s participant group.
Guest analysts
The documented evaluator workflow uses administrator membership together with a guest analyst group. Guest analysts can evaluate permitted survey data without changing surveys or account settings.
| Group | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Guest Analysts - Full Access | Allows analysis with participant identification where the survey privacy settings permit it. |
| Guest Analysts - Limited Access | Allows analysis without identifying participants, including when a survey is Low or Medium privacy. |
After assigning an analyst, check their access using that account. Verify the intended surveys, available reports, and identity displays before sharing data.
Review access at project milestones
Review access when the project begins, when an analyst joins, and when the study ends. Use individual credentials, keep email verification enabled where appropriate, and remove administrative access when it is no longer needed.
